Yazda: a multi-national Yazidi global organization established in the aftermath of the Yazidi Genocide in 2014, to support the Yazidi ethno-religious minority and other vulnerable groups.
IMMERSIVE EXHIBITION EXPERIENCE
The immersive exhibition, combining technology and art, will enable viewers to understand the wider aspects of genocide. It aims to stimulate the public’s imagination and bring them closer to the tragedy by using virtual and augmented reality technology, sculpture, painting and film. This includes artworks from Yazidi, Assyrian and Christian artists as well as the survivors. Lastly, the exhibition will inspire the viewer to take action by using social media stations to make pledges of commitment to show that “we are listening”. All equipment and artwork will be donated to the memorial museum being built in Sinjar
