MISSION
Mahoro Peace Association (MPA) is a community organization which promotes development of its members living in the US and supports peacebuilding, victims of armed conflicts and displaced people in Eastern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
MEMBERSHIP
MPA leadership is composed by a Board of Directors, an Executive Committee and State Representatives. MPA has 7000+ members who live in more than 45 states.
ACTIVITIES
Assisting MPA members living in the US
Organizing MPA groups (youth, women, men, religious leaders) and developmental activities
Supporting member integration in the US by sharing opportunities
Providing humanitarian assistance to victims of war in Eastern DR Congo
Supporting widows and orphans of armed conflicts
Attending to people wounded by armed conflicts
Supporting victims of sexual violence in Eastern DR Congo
