Write to Political Prisoners in Russia – Standing Up Against Injustice

Saturday, December 16, 1:00 – 3:00 pm CT at the Minnesota State Capitol, Room 316

World Without Genocide

Write letters to some of the 600 political prisoners in Russia who are detained for protesting the war in Ukraine. This prisoner support strives to build and preserve democracy. Prisoners receive better treatment when they are sent letters, because guards know that the prisoners aren’t alone.

Minnesota State Senator Sandy Pappas will lead a tour of the capitol.

There is no fee, materials are provided, Russian language skills are not required, and no registration is necessary. All are welcome.

This in-person event is co-hosted by Russians Against War – MN and The Museum of Russian Art.

Location: Minnesota State Capitol, Room 316, 75 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, Saint Paul, MN 55155.
