Rohingya Human Rights Initiative
New Delhi, India
Rohingya Human Rights Initiative (R4R) is dedicated to protecting and promoting the rights of Rohingya and Burma-based minority communities across South and Southeast Asia. Our mission is rooted in addressing the systemic injustices faced by these communities, including violence, discrimination, and marginalization, while empowering them to reclaim their dignity, rights, and opportunities.
Research, Documentation, and Advocacy
They have produced extensive research documenting atrocities, war crimes, and acts of genocide committed against the Rohingya in Rakhine State. Their recent 80+ page report includes survivor testimonies documenting forced conscription of Rohingya youth, sexual violence against girls, land confiscation, forced displacement, and movement restrictions carried out by the Arakan Army. They are currently seeking support to publish and promote this research through an advocacy campaign and documentary film highlighting the ongoing situation of Rohingya communities in Rakhine State.
