(Minneapolis, MN; February 27, 2026) A World Without Delegation will attend the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) in March, the annual convening of people from around the world to promote women’s rights. Executive Director Ellen J. Kennedy, Ph.D., will hold two webinars, free and open to the public, at CSW:

 

David v. Goliath: Standing Up to US Abridging Bodily Autonomy

Tuesday, March 10, 2026, 9:30 – 11 am CT / 10:30 am – 12 pm ET

This talk examines bodily autonomy as a fundamental human right, focusing on U.S. violations and legal barriers affecting women, girls, gender-expansive people, and those who are disabled, elderly, or ill.

Women in Genocide: Perpetrators, Victims, Rescuers, and Defenders

Wednesday, March 11, 2026, 9:30 – 11 am CT / 10:30 am – 12 pm ET

This program examines women’s roles in conflict and genocide, highlighting gendered experiences and their implications for violence prevention and peace.

Pregnant and Murdered in Our Own Communities

Tuesday, March 24, 2026, 7:00 – 8:00 pm CT

More pregnant women in the US die of homicide than of common obstetric causes, murdered by their domestic partner. Expert panelists will discuss the intersection of pregnancy, abuse, and violence, and will recommend support systems and policy changes needed to protect vulnerable women and unborn babies.
